My approach is documentary at heart, with just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable when you need it. I’ll step in for portraits, family photos, and timeline flow — but most of the day, I’m watching for what is already happening naturally.

The best photographs usually live in the in-between: nervous hands, loose laughter, quiet glances, wild dance floors, and the people you love being fully themselves.

That is what I’m there to preserve.

  • 1. Do you direct couples during the wedding, or do you let things unfold naturally?

    Both. I’ll guide you through portraits, family photos, and moments where direction helps. But most of the day, I’m watching for what is already happening naturally. The goal is for the photos to feel honest, not staged.

  • 2. What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

    Almost everyone does at first. You do not need to know what to do. I’ll use simple direction and movement so it feels less like posing and more like being present with each other.

  • 3. Do you photograph weddings outside Chicago?

    Yes. I’m based in Chicago and photograph weddings throughout the city, the Midwest, and beyond. We’ve photographed weddings in Mexico, California, Colorado, Florida and beyond. If your wedding is outside the area, reach out and I’ll build a custom collection around travel and coverage.

  • 4. What is your photography style?

    My style is documentary at the core, with an editorial eye for light, composition, and atmosphere. I focus on real moments, natural emotion, and images that feel honest rather than overly staged.

  • 5. How much does ChiCago wedding photography cost?

    Wedding collections vary depending on coverage, location, and the shape of the day. The best way to get accurate pricing is to inquire with your date, venue, and what you are planning.

  • 6. How do we book?

    I want to give everything I have you your wedding. Because of this, we only take 20 weddings per year,. So when you’re ready to book, let us know as soon as possible!
